Our main activities include:
- Draft Greenway Vision Mapping
- Collaborative conservation efforts.
- Meetings that have guest speakers on topics relating to land conservation, planning and stewardship
- Workshops about conservation topics for landowners and conservationists. Past workshops included an Oct. 5. 2011 presentation on Land Conservation Tools For Estate Planning, Legacy, and Tax Benefits for 25 members of the FCRCP. This was held at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center in Danbury, CT. We also held a Landowner Workshop on land management options on Saturday, October 24, 2009 in Newtown, MA. Overall, we had 63 people attending.
